Inmates can participate in a wide range of programs, depending on their custody levels and behavior while they are serving time at High Desert Prison FL. Inmates must also show a willingness to participate in the programs which include substance abuse treatment, adult basic education and GED, as well as many vocational and work skill-related jobs.

Some of the Career Technical Education programs are CTE Computer Literacy and CTE Building Maintenance.
