Sending Money

Trying to make sure an inmate has enough funds to get through each day of their life while they are in the FDC Honolulu is easier now than ever.

You will need to take advantage of using Western Union or MoneyGram. You will use these services just like you would normally. The only difference is instead of someone picking up the money, it will automatically be deposited into the inmate commissary fund while they are in the facility.

Surcharges will still apply.

Phone calls

When an inmate calls you, you as the receiver must not play around with your call features. You must not be passing the phone off to other people as well. Only you will be permitted to talk to the inmates.

If you fail to follow the rules, your call may be disconnected. You may also run the risk of having your phone number banned from the inmate’s phone list as well.

You should be aware that these offenders who are serving time in the FDC Honolulu will only be permitted to have one-hour visits. These visits can be no more than 4 times a month.

When an inmate gets a visit, only four people will be permitted to be in this visitor party. You will need to contact the FDC Honolulu to find out what the most current schedule is as it will go by the offender’s unit number, floor location, month, and the offender’s identification number.
