The Hale Nani program will offer inmates some of the best of the best reintegration services along with a work-release program for inmates who will be getting released from Hawaii Community Correctional Center shortly. The Hawaii Community Correctional Center also contracts with a transitional community residential program that also works closely with female inmates.
Inmates in the Hawaii Community Correctional Center will have opportunities to work through the in-facility work lines alongside the Correctional Industries. Inmates will be able to work for these community service work lines with county organizations, state organizations, and non-profit organizations.
Inmates will also have the opportunity to call their loved ones back home Starting back in 2018, the Hawaii Community Correctional Center contracted with the phone provider Global Tel Link, which will allow the inmates inside Hawaii Community Correctional Center to call both mobile phones and landline phones.
