The Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility consists of three housing units. Within these housing units, you will find three or four-person cells, which a grand total of 234 beds for inmates. In Building A and Building B, they will accommodate all long-term maintenance inmates along with Phases III inmates. However, in Building C they will accommodate all Guide Dog inmates, orientation inmates, along with Phase I and Phase II inmates.
The Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility also has a work-release program that works throughout the Metropolitan area. The work-release program is only available to the Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility long-term inmates. They will be working for government facilities or the Helms Facility.
