Lincoln Detention Center is located in North Platte, at 302 N Jeffers St. in Nebraska. It is mandated by law that the operations of the facility be supervised and monitored by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Under the leadership of the sheriff, the department aims to ensure the peace and safety of the county by providing visitors and Lincoln County residents with the highest level of public service.

In addition to inmates brought in by the Sheriff’s department, there are also inmates from the Nebraska Department of Corrections. The jail also accommodates inmates from the U.S., Marshall’s office.
