The food is so much better in a halfway house than in a prison. This facility provides the residents until they are officially released from custody with financial management assistance, employment counseling and job placement and is a structured, supervised environment.
The inmates housed in the Tuscarawas Juvenile Attention Center are allowed to leave the halfway house to go shopping for food and clothing, go to religious services and go to work.
