Inmates are assessed using the Ohio Risk Assessment System to identify criminogenic behavior that is to be addressed through a personalized treatment plan for rehabilitation.

The facility utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to address the individual’s issues.

This facility addresses a range of issues including substance abuse, developing healthy relationships and relationship building skills, anger management and counseling for abuse survivors.

Individuals detained within the West Central Community Correctional Facility can prepare for and take the GED exam while residing within the facility. Detainees who are eligible to earn high school credits are able to work with the education department to continue their remaining coursework.
