The Elizabethton Group Home is a medium Level II correctional facility in Elizabethton, TN with an inmate population consists of felony inmates. The main goals of CRC are to provide an environment that is safe and secure to the public, visitors, staff, as well as the inmates.

History
The building currently housing Tennessee Rehabilitation Center opened its doors in 1928 as a luxury hotel that was called the Lake Elizabethtonnian Club. President F. D. Roosevelt made the resort into a Naval hospital In December of 19401. The hospital closed its doors in November of 19409. During the Korean war, the hospital opened its doors again in 1950, then closed again in June of 1957. The federal government donated the facility to the state to use as a narcotics center in March of 1962. The Elizabethton Group Home began housing felons as well as civil narcotic addicts in order to help with overcrowding in 1980.
