However, three of these buildings will have triple bunk beds as well. One of the housing units consists of 86 beds. These beds are strictly for the segregation inmates and another 47 beds for isolation inmates or protective custody inmates.
The Harrisonburg Men’s Diversion Center has a fire station, a tactical squad, and a CERT team.
Harrisonburg Men’s Diversion Center is one of the nine prisons in Georiga that was implicated in a well-known FBI sting that happened back in early 2016. The FBI indicted nearly 47 correctional officers who complied with delivering drugs while they were on the job. This was just a small part of the bigger operation that uncovered the public corruption inside the Virginia Correctional Facilities.
